Why did my Instagram connection expire?
Instagram connections expire when Meta tokens expire or access is revoked. Reconnect Instagram in Channels to restore automations.
Expired Instagram access shows up as reconnect empty states, badges in Channels / Dashboard, and stopped automations.
If it doesn't work
Channels or Dashboard shows expired Instagram
- Why it happens
- The Meta access token expired or was revoked from Facebook/Instagram settings.
- How to check
- Open Channels and confirm Instagram status / reconnect prompts.
- How to fix
- Click Reconnect Instagram, complete OAuth, then verify Posts & Reels sync again.
Automations stopped without config changes
- Why it happens
- Disconnected Instagram cannot send DMs or public replies.
- How to check
- Confirm connection health and that automations are not also paused.
- How to fix
- Reconnect, then Resume any automations or templates you paused.
