Do I need to share my Instagram password?
CommentLink never asks for your Instagram password. Connect with Meta OAuth from Channels.
No. CommentLink does not collect or store your Instagram password.
When you click Connect Instagram in Channels, Meta’s OAuth flow authorizes CommentLink to use official APIs for comments, messaging, and media sync. You approve permissions in Meta’s UI, then return to CommentLink.
- Never enter your Instagram password into a CommentLink form
- Use Connect Instagram / Reconnect Instagram only through Meta
- Revoke access anytime from Facebook/Instagram settings if you need to disconnect
