How do I finish WhatsApp setup after connecting?
After Connect WhatsApp Business in Channels, confirm Connected status and that the number registered for sending without registration errors.
Connecting WhatsApp is the first step. Finishing setup means Channels shows WhatsApp as Connected and the number is registered for sending (no registration warning).
Before you start
- Completed Connect WhatsApp Business (Embedded Signup) or advanced System User token connect
Return to Channels
Open Channels after Meta Embedded Signup completes.
Confirm Connected
The WhatsApp Business card should show a Connected pill / WhatsApp connected. Review any status line under the connect button.
Watch for registration warnings
If you see a warning that the number connected but is not registered for sending, resolve the Meta registration issue and reconnect if needed.
Optional advanced path
Under Advanced: connect with a System User token, confirm System User Token, Phone Number ID, and WhatsApp Business Account ID (WABA ID) if your workspace uses manual connect.
