What is Follow Gate?
Follow Gate (Follow-Gated DM) requires people to follow you and confirm before unlocking gated Instagram DM content.
Follow Gate is CommentLink’s Follow-Gated DM feature. When someone triggers your automation, they first receive a gate message. They must follow your account and tap I'm following ✓ before the gated content is delivered.
What it is for
- Protect links, media, or offers behind a follow
- Grow followers while still automating comment-to-DM
- Track gate shown vs unlocked outcomes on the Follow-Gated report
