How do I automate Instagram Story replies?
Automate Instagram Story replies in CommentLink by linking an automation on Stories while the story is live.
CommentLink can send automated DMs when someone replies to your Instagram Story. You configure this under Stories, similar to Posts & Reels.
Before you start
- Instagram connected in Channels
- A live Story available to sync
How it works
Fetch or open your latest Story, link an automation with triggers and messages (optionally Follow-Gated DM or Email Collector), then Save. While the Story is live and linked, eligible story replies can trigger the automation.
Limitations
- Close Friends, reshares, and Live are not available through the Instagram API.
- Stories expire — expired or unlinked stories will not keep triggering.
